Dr. Alan Rothstein graduated with a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York – Binghamton in 1986. He earned his DDS degree in 1990 and Certificate in Periodontology in 1992 from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. From 1992 – 2000 Dr. Rothstein was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics at Columbia University as well where he both taught and practiced Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Rothstein founded A R Periodontics in 1999. He maintained a private practice in mid-town Manhattan from 2000 – 2007 before moving out to Denville, NJ in 2005 where he still practices.

With 20 years in practice and teaching, Dr. Rothstein brings a great amount of experience and expertise to our practices. Dr. Rothstein is a fine clinician in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and has been recognized in “The Guide to America’s Top Dentists” from 2005 – 2012. He is also well-respected in the NJ Dental Community. Dr. Rothstein is the President of the Tri-County Dental Society (Morris, Sussex and Warren), a member of the Board of Trustees of the NJ Dental Association and an Advisory Board member to the Fortis Institute in Wayne and Lawrenceville.

Upon graduating with his DDS degree, Dr. Rothstein received Awards for Excellence in Behavioral Science, Radiology and Preventive Dentistry. He also received an award from the Long Island Academy of Odontology for High Scholastic Achievement and Clinical Proficiency in Dentistry. Dr. Rothstein is an Attending Dentist at Morristown Memorial Medical Center where he continues to teach Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Rothstein is an avid sports fan and can often be found at Devils, Yankees, Giants or Jets games. He also enjoys travel, photography, reading and just sitting in the sun. Dr. Rothstein has 3 teenage children and he and his wife, Kathy live in Mine Hill with their 2 year old English Bulldog, Roxy.

Dr. Kuang-Min Chang, D.M.D.
Dr. Chang is a graduate from the University of Alabama (class of 1987). With over 20 years of experience, he has completely mastered the field of periodontics. He has been working at the office for over four years now along with teaching at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in the Department of Periodontics.

Dr. Giuseppe Lamantea DDS
Dr. Lamantea went to New York University College of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S degree. Subsequently he attended Mountainside Hospital where he completed a General Residency Program. Dr. Lamantea then continued a three year Periodontal Residency program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ) where he received a certificate in Periodontics. He is a practicing periodontist specializing in periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Lamantea has distinguished himself as being a Board Certified periodontist and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a member of many regional and national dental organizations. Besides practicing periodontics and implant dentistry, Dr. Lamantea currently holds a position as Clinical Assistant Professor at UMDNJ.
